FireBackup LLC ("FireBackup," "we," "us," or "our") operates the FireBackup online backup service. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
We believe in straightforward privacy practices. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.
Account information. When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, login credentials, and billing information necessary to process payments.
Backup data. When you use the FireBackup service, your files are transmitted to and stored on our servers. We store your backup data solely to provide the backup and restore service to you.
Usage and log data. We automatically collect information about how you interact with our service, including IP addresses, login times, backup session timestamps, data transfer volumes, and client software version. This information is used for security monitoring, troubleshooting, and service improvement.
Payment information. Payments are processed through PayPal. We do not store your credit card numbers or PayPal account credentials on our servers. Please refer to PayPal's Privacy Policy for information about how they handle your payment data.

All data transmitted between your devices and our servers is encrypted in transit using TLS/SSL. Backup data is encrypted at rest on our servers.
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We retain your backup data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your account, your backup data will be permanently deleted within 30 days of cancellation. Account records (name, email, login history) may be retained for up to 90 days after cancellation for legal and auditing purposes.
If your account is suspended due to non-payment, we will retain your data for a 30-day grace period before deletion.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share information only in the following limited circumstances:
You may access, update, or delete your account information at any time through the FireBackup web interface. You may request a complete deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us.
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including the right to access, rectify, port, and erase your personal data, and the right to restrict or object to processing. Our servers are located in the United States and Canada. If you are accessing the service from outside these countries, your information will be transferred to and stored in the US or Canada. By using the service, you consent to this transfer.
We use a session cookie to keep you logged in to the web interface. This cookie is strictly necessary for the service to function and is deleted when your session expires. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics.
FireBackup is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that a child under 18 has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete that information.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting a notice on our website or sending you an email. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
